Xango Vice President Scott Smith Returns to InfoTrax as President

One of the things true of all industries is that the talent pool at the very top is limited, and executives who prove to be capable leaders play a version of Professional  Musical Chairs: they move around, often sitting in the same place twice.

So it is with Scott Smith who after six happy and fruitful years at XANGO—most recently as Senior Vice President of XANGO Americas—has accepted the position of President at InfoTrax…which is where XANGO hired him from!

InfoTrax Founder and Chairman Mark Rawlins says, “Scott was our Vice President of Professional Services and an extremely valuable part of our executive team. But although his move to XANGO created a challenge for InfoTrax in the moment, I was happy for Scott. My policy and philosophy always has been to support our people when they occasionally move on to other opportunities. And Scott’s move to XANGO turned out, over time, to be good for everyone.”

Good for Scott because he thrived in the executive ranks at a leading MLM company, managing both day-to-day operations and international strategic planning for one of direct selling’s biggest and most respected companies. Good for XANGO because they enjoyed the talented leadership of a guy whose natural skills and InfoTrax training were sharpened and multiplied at XANGO, permitting him to develop into one of direct selling’s truly great leaders.  And good for InfoTrax.

“Actually, GREAT for InfoTrax,” says Mark Rawlins.  “Not only because the rapid international growth of InfoTrax needs his leadership, but because Scott returns to us with so much valuable experience to help us understand our clients and anticipate their needs.”

Scott Smith agrees.  “Every move in my career has been another step in a remarkable education.  From my work at Nu Skin, InfoTrax and XANGO, I have come to love this industry.  I love what network marketing can do for people when it is done right.  Part of doing it right is having a solid foundation of technology that supports distributor confidence, business momentum and international expansion.  I have returned to InfoTrax so that I can focus on improving the use of technology in the network marketing and party plan communities.”

Musical Chairs? No, just another evidence that as it is for Distributors in the field, so it is with Executives in the home office:  No matter where you start, you can go anywhere in MLM!
